Standard Espagnolette
All windows come with this lock as standard which has multiple locking points to achieve a high standard of security.
Twin Cam Espag
This provides an extra level of security with the addition of another locking point. Its “pincing” movement secures both lock points into the keep.

A-Rated Windows
Choosing the right replacement windows can help to make your home more energy efficient and can reduce your heating bills. Our frames are manufactured to British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) energy ratings A, B or C when combined with the appropriate glass.
Triple Glazing
McAvoy Windows and Doors also supplies frames suitable for triple glazing. When combined with the correct glass and reinforcing specification, a whole window U-value of 0.8W/m2K can be achieved (windows only).
U Value / WER Calculator
REHAU has developed an Online Thermal Calculator to demonstrate the energy efficiency of their windows and doors. It works by calculating thermal transmittance or “U-Values” by following the principles of BS EN ISO 10077-1. We recommend this tool to provide indicative WER ratings for retail customers. The program allows the user to print the calculation graphic to show whether a particular window achieves an A, B or C rating and also facilitates the personalisation of customer quotations.

Our doors come with double handles as standard as well as shootbolt locks with the option to upgrade to hook locks if required.
The REHAU Slinova sliding door is perfect for modern living. Its versatile and stylish design includes slim sightlines which let in more natural light and creates a feeling of spaciousness. These highly desirable doors are extremely smooth running, with outstanding aesthetic appeal and security. They are available in a variety of styles from 2 – 4 panes as well as double track systems.

Standard 1 Hook 4 Roller
All doors come with this lock as standard. It includes bidirectional roller locks and one deadlock hook in the centre for anti-separation resistance.
3 Hook 4 Roller
This lock is designed to meet the requirements of PAS24 and is licenced by Secured by Design. It has 4 bi-directional locking rollers as well as 3 deadlock hooks to make it highly secure.

French Door Locks
On our range of French doors, both sashes have shootbolt locking top and bottom. These doors will also come with a 1 Hook 4 Roller lock as standard or it can be upgraded to 3 Hook 4 Roller if required.

How energy efficient are PVCu WINDOWS?
Our double glazed windows offer U-values of 1.4 W/m2K as standard (‘A’ rating), with the option to reduce the overall U-value to 1.2 W/m2K. By selecting the triple glazed windows, featuring Soft Coat Xtra and Argon gas, you can further reduce the whole window U-value to only 0.8 W/m2K.

WHAT KINDS of glass can we get for a door?
We have a range of bespoke decorative glass options featuring bevels, tiles, lead, coloured resin and sandblast designs. We also offer a range of textured / obscure glass to enhance the security and privacy of your home.
HOW SECURE IS A pvcu panel DOOR?
We supply doors in either 28 or 40mm panel thickness. Our panel doors are extremely robust, strong and durable. All Panel Doors feature multi-point locking mechanisms as standard.
